Image Quality
The front camera records at 2K QHD (2560×1440) at 30fps using a Sony STARVIS sensor. Daytime footage is crisp with good dynamic range; number plates are easily readable at city speeds. The rear camera is a more modest 1080p unit, which is perfectly adequate for capturing what happens behind you but lacks the same detail. Night performance is decent rather than exceptional – street-lit scenes are clear, but in complete darkness the sensor starts to struggle with plate capture on fast-moving vehicles. For the price bracket, the image quality is competitive. The 140-degree front field of view provides good coverage without excessive fisheye distortion.

Built-in GPS logs speed and location data, which is overlaid on footage and viewable in Thinkware’s desktop and mobile apps. Wi-Fi connectivity allows wireless transfer of clips to your phone, though the app is functional rather than polished. Installation
The F200 Pro uses an adhesive mount for the front camera and a smaller adhesive pad for the rear. The included cables are generous in length. Hardwiring for parking mode requires an additional kit (not included) and some experience with fuse boxes, but the cigarette lighter option works out of the box. The cameras themselves are compact and discreet once fitted.
